2011 Arizona Fall Classic

Baseball Northwest will be taking nine teams to the Arizona Fall Classic this year; 3 Senior, 3 Junior, and 3 Sophomore teams. The tournament will be held in October in Peoria, Arizona: Seniors: October 14-16th, Juniors: October 21-23rd, Sophomores: October 28-30th. This is the top west coast "fall" showcase event. College coaches and professional scouts from all over the country are in attendance at the Junior and Senior Fall Classic.
Games are played at the Peoria Sports Complex, the spring training home of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. Baseball Northwest teams are the only Northwest (Oregon, Washington and Idaho) based teams invited to this event. Baseball Northwest has been attending the tournament for over 15 years. Many players have benefited greatly from their participation in the event.
More information on the tournament can be found at www.azfallclassic.com. The schedule can be viewed there, or at the bottom of this page. It is a wood or composite bat event and there will be timed 60's on Saturday. No SPARQ testing will be done.
Players must make arrangements and pay for their own transportation to the tournament. All transportation for the players staying with Baseball Northwest lodging will be provided while in Arizona. Full details on transportation is included in the invitation letter.
This is an invitation only event. Personal invitations are sent by email. Rosters are limited to provide the right amount of playing time for everyone. Players playing in the Baseball Northwest Fall Scout Team will be given first priority for roster spots for this tournament. Players must make arrangements and pay for their own transportation to the tournament. Full details are included in the invitation letter. The player fee for the trip is $495, $375 if staying with parents.
IF you have recieved an invitation by email we prefer you register online through the players account. If you choose to register by mail, there is an additional $10 handling fee. When registering online, please update your player profile completely as this information is required for the tournament roster.
