BBNW to send TWO TEAMS to the

WORLD WOOD BAT CHAMPIONSHIPS

OCTOBER 26-30, 2007 IN JUPITER, FLORIDA

Baseball Northwest’s exclusive 2007 Fall program includes sending two teams of Northwest players to the Baseball America/Perfect Game World Wood Bat Championships in Jupiter, Florida on October 26th - 30th, 2007.

The 72-team tournament is played at the Roger Dean Sports Complex, which is the spring training home of the Cardinals and Marlins.  This tournament has the largest attendance by college recruiters and professional scouts than any other in the country and provides excellent facilities and competition.  This event can be very beneficial for top 2008 and 2009 professional and college prospects. The tournament and players receive national exposure and attention.

BBNW will invite players based on our evaluations of players from State Prospect Games and Northwest Championship Tournament.  Baseball America and Perfect Game use Baseball Northwest’s top player lists in their promotion and writings regarding the country’s top prospects.  Invitations for this event will begin to go out July 1st.

BBNW is very careful and selective in the events in which it recommends, promotes and attends.  Only those events that truly can help the individual players are considered. Baseball Northwest was the only Northwest program invite last year to the World wood Bat Championships.
